GOOD is a collaboration of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits pushing the world forward.

This is the first post in design mind on GOOD, a series exploring the power of design by the editors of design mind. New posts every Tuesday and Thursday.

“Design, once narrowly defined as a marginal activity concerned with aesthetic appeal of a limited range of consumer goods, can now be seen to be at the core of all our conceptions and plans for our personal and collective social lives.”

„Design is really in all our actions – whether small and private to big and corporate action!“

Expanding the scope of design will show new possibilities and opportunities to generate value to the system – Copenhagen hasn’t achieved much it seems, BUT a lot of thinking behind the scences.

Changing the world doesn’t so much depend on the outcomings of the Climate Summit rather on our own awareness where our next action is leading. Designing the flow of steps on the go is what makes humans very special. Design means finding new ways of doing things, either tangible or intangible ones.

In this sense a Merry Xmas to all who read this excellent blog and its comments on the various fields.
