The World Design Impact Prize is an innovative and interactive design prize dedicated to recognising, empowering and stimulating socially responsible design projects and initiatives around the world. Established by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid), the Prize was created to honour industrial design driven projects that use design and/or design thinking to make a positive impact on our social, economic, cultural and/or environmental quality of life. Through the establishment of a prize specifically for industrial design driven projects, Icsid also aims to help bring forth tangible examples and best practices that will help shape the future of the profession.
