Die Arbeit wurde bei dem Unternehmen &#8222;Space Applications Services&#8220; in Br\u00fcssel angefertigt.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Erinnerung, um 13 Uhr geht es mit Janine Kaspers Verteidigung los, im Anschluss um 14 Uhr folgt<a href=\"http:\/\/technischesdesign.mw.tu-dresden.de\/blog\/diplomarbeit-kite-boot-steuerung\/\"> Lisa L\u00fcneburg<\/a>. Alle Interessierten sind herzlich eingeladen. Beide finden im Zeunerbau, Raum 150 statt.<\/p>\n<p>This diploma thesis presents a design concept\u00a0for a dual arm force-feedback exoskeleton and\u00a0its dedicated work station which enables intuitive\u00a0teleoperation of remotely operated vehicles\u00a0(ROV) in submarine environments. The work is\u00a0part of the DexROV project at Space Applications\u00a0Services that aims at enhancing the dexterity and\u00a0thus the range of applications of ROVs.<\/p>\n<p>While taking into consideration previous projects,\u00a0two designs for a sample part of the exoskeleton\u00a0are created guided by user centred design\u00a0methods. Manufacturing techniques which allow\u00a0for a fast and iterative creation of physical models\u00a0and support the realisation of single prototypes\u00a0or small batches are among the key considerations. Compliance to the corporate identity is\u00a0another focus. To demonstrate the mechanical\u00a0and aesthetic properties of the selected design \u2013\u00a0combining sheet metal parts with 3D printed\u00a0elements \u2013 a 1:1 scale model is built.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore a work station serving as a foundation\u00a0for the wearable robotic arms is outlined.<br \/>\nThe setup features an ergonomic upright seating\u00a0posture and ensures the freedom of movement of\u00a0the operator\u2019s arms.
